Infinite Scroll describes a display of endless posts beneath a primary post; infinite scroll results in a changing url in the browser bar. This feature is enabled at the site level. Contact Organic Customer Support or your administrator to activate this feature. Once enabled, users can modify the display in a few ways.
Disable infinite scroll for individual posts
To remove the infinite scroll feed from beneath a particular post, and make that post ineligible to appear in the infinite scroll feed beneath other posts, set the priority to 0. Click save or update to save your preferences.
Set primary post in infinite scroll
To set a post to always appear as the first post within infinite scroll, set the priority to 100. Click save or update to save your preferences.
Note: Setting a post’s priority to 100 will automatically result in any previous post with a priority of 100 being reset to 5.
Set multiple posts in infinite scroll
To set secondary, tertiary, etc. post order within the infinite scroll display, set additional priorities in descending order. For instance, a post with priority of 100 will appear in the infinite scroll display first, then posts with priority of 90, 80, etc.
Note: Previous posts with a duplicate priority will be automatically reset to 5.
If no priority preferences are set, the infinite scroll display will serve a feed of the latest posts.
